A scene based on an original black and white photograph by well-known Chesterfield photographer and friend, Arthur Green. The setting shows the crew of an 8F about to start their shift. A very common scene up to around 1965 and one which would had been lost forever had it not been for the amazing work of Mervin Allcock and the Barrow Hill Engine Shed Society.
